Batting Order
Everyone is invited to join Vibhor's baraat!
Vibhor's baraat will set off from Charcroft at 1.30pm - an hour before the wedding ceremony - and we will dance our way through the village to the church. You are more than welcome to join in, and escort the groom to the wedding Indian-style!
Please park in the field behind Charcroft Farm, and assemble in Charcroft driveway ready to set off to the sound of dhols!
Marriage service at St. John the Baptist, Brewham
This will be a traditional Church of England wedding ceremony, with hymns, a sermon - and some Hindu prayers!
Drinks on the lawn
After the wedding ceremony, we will dance our way back to Charcroft for drinks and canapés on the lawn.
Feasting and Merriment
We will then sit down for a delicious meal, accompanied by speeches from Georgie and Vibhor, their parents, and the best man.
Let's Dance
After dinner and speeches, we will dance to traditional Scottish cèilidh music. Don't worry about not knowing the steps; we will have a 'caller' to explain each dance. All cèilidhs require is energy and enthusiasm, no prior experience needed.
Yet More Dancing
We'll then transition into a music playlist, with more typical tunes (and some Bollywood bangers).
Midnight Feast!
We'll have delicious snacks to refuel and replenish from so much dancing.
Freedom at Midnight
We are winding down around midnight.
When booking taxis in advance, we recommend suggesting midnight for collection.
